Very Good & Reliable

Ghost has been around for a long time - tried, tested and gets the job done. Luckily, I haven't had to use this even though I've probably backed up terrabytes of data using this!!

How to transfer image from external drive

In my frustration of having to reinstall Windows XP and the loss of my manual for Norton Ghost 14.0 I backed up to an external hard drive. I found later that this is incorrect. Now I don't know how to get the contents back into my computer. I read earlier today about cloning but the version I have does have this feature nor will it let me copy from an external drive to my C drive. Does anyone have any ideas that will me out of this dilemma?

Any good open source/free alternatives to Norton Ghost?

Looking for an app that allows for full system backup or disk image that can be saved directly to a FTP location. Have been using Norton Ghost and wanted to see what open sources alternatives are out there.
